Along with the in-depth research for the carbonate buried-hills in JiYang sag, the geologists have stepped into the stage of exploration for the complicated buried-hills. The keystone of stage is about research for the mechanism of buried-hills reservoir, and the aim is that finding the concealed buried-hills pools and picturing the dimensional distribution by using the variety of technologies.Based on the analysis of routine and FMI logging, The paper give the different reservoir classification criterion. From the angle Sr, C, O isotope and accessory elements such as Mg, Fe, Sr, Mn of some samples, The paper endece the conclusion that the buried-hills forming mechanism is that karstification which happened in Indo-Chinese—Yenshan epoch and dolomization. At the same time, the effective karstification depth is ascertained according the geochemical profile of single well.The elaborate explaination and comparasin diagram for reservoir revelated vertical and horizontal distribution of reservoir in this district. Considering the lithology and their compounding, reservoir character, and forming mechanism, we think that the main factor influencing reservoir development is that karstification and fractures and faults produced by structural momvement in Jiyang depression.Mainly thorugh the clew of the background, condition, evolution and waning of the karstification, at the same time, adding the function that the faults and fractures reconstructed the reservoir, the paper gives the reservoir developmental model at three different levels.According influence of tectonic evolution, structural character, the degree of weathering and denuation on reservoir developmental, and the reservoir model and reservoir parts of different buried-hill, and developmental character and distribution law for reservoir, the paper evaluates and prognosticates the developmental situation of reservoir in the mass, and indicates the favorable districts for froming reservoir.
