According to the special surrounding of rock slopes, two native plants (Pogonatherum panideum(Lam.)Hack) and (Erioophorum comosum Nees ) cultivated in the pot and PEG solution was used as study material to study their drought resistance in this experiment, comparing to Cynodon dactylon that is usually applied on the slope eco-engineering. The changes of the plants' morphologies and physiologies were studied under drought-stress. The purpose of this experiment is to find theoretical foundation for applied on the slope eco-engineering of plants' exploitation and use. The result showed:1 , pot culture experiment1) The result of morphology indexes showed : on the initial stage under drought-stress (0-5 day), two kind of wild rock-plants was still grow .AH morphology indexes were increased , such as the length and the width of leaf , the dry matter accumulation above the ground and under the ground .But the contrast of Cynodon Dactylon' morphology indexes were decreased .At the later period all trial materials' morphology indexes reduced.2) The result of physiologies showed: Under drought-stress the leaf relative conductance of every material was showed a tendency to rise continuously .The leaf relative conductance of Pogonatherum panideum(Lam.)Hack has increased 48.65% than when not stressed, the Erioophorum comosum Nees has increased 15.81%, and the Cynodon Dactylon has increased 48.65%. The content of chlorophyll was continuously decreased. The soluble protein content was small increased firstly then decreased continuously in two kinds of wild rock-plants, and reduced continuously in the contrast Cynodon Dactylon. MDA content of every trial materials were increased continuously. On the fifteenth days of drought-stress the Cynodon Dactylon' MDA content started decreasing.2, The PEG-6000 imitates drought-stress Under PEG-stressed, the trial materials' morphology indexes had the same change trend comparedwith pot culture experiment. But the change of the physiology indexes not had the same change trend compared with pot culture experiment. Soluble protein content dropped continuously, MDA content increased firstly then decreased. But the trial result is consistent with the pot culture experiment. 3 , Two kind of wild rock-plants suits the way of mechanism of drought resistance Both pot culture and PEG imitates drought-stress trial showed: The chief mechanism of drought resistance of the Erioophorum comosum Nees was drought tolerance, the Pogonatherum panideum(Lam.)Hack were drought tolerance and drought avoidanceAnalyses every morphologies and physiologies synthetically and then drew the following conclusion: Drought-resistance of the Erioophorum comosum Nees stronger than the Cynodon Dactylon than the Pogonatherum panideum(Lam.)Hack. In pot culture, the relative conductance, content of chlorophyll, MDA content and soluble protein content have significant correlation to the soil water content in two kind of wild rock-plants, and these four indexes have significant correlation in both pot culture and PEG imitates drought-stress trial. So recommendation use these four indexes as drought resistance indexes when one plans to study the Pogonatherum panideum(Lam.)Hack and the Erioophorum comosum Nees.
