With the continuing progress of exploration for uranium resources,multi-source geoscicence information data base including geologic, geochemical, geophysical, remote sensing and hydrology data have rapidly increased insediment basins in China. It is a current imperative study task how to make thesedata produce the best efficiency in new circle exploration for uranium resources.Traditional predictive techniques haven't been able to meet rapid exploration andevaluation. So it is a current difficulty for geologist who work for Uraniumdeposits how to extract some complicated metallogenic information that is hardto be achieved only by our thinking and how to mine the concentrativeinformations which have consanguineous relation with uranium deposits bymanagement and memory of great data, imformation extraction and integrationbased on computers. With the application of GIS as a powerful tool formulti-source management and metallogenic information extraction, explorationand evaluation for uranium resources have come into an informational and digitalera. Using the functions of powerful spatial analysis and abundant graphicsexpression and combining the capabilities of metallogenic information extractionmodule's numerical value calculating and model forecasting , the efficiency ofmetallogenic information extraction and integration can be greatly improved. The purpose of this dissertation is applying the GIS technique to the exploration andevaluation of in-situ leachable sandstone-type uranium deposits and making the GISapplication system of desktop for non-GIS professionals. The designed system can performthe high effective management, quick query, metallogenic information extraction andintegrated analysis for a great deal of multi-source exploration information and all kinds ofproduction output so that the system can really become a powerful tool during predictingprospecting areas of sandstone-type uranium deposits. The system software adopts integrated secondary development mode basedon ArcGIS Engine as a component GIS software, and executing programs aredesigned in Visual Basic development environment; The system adoptsmodularization structure, which is composed of basic GIS function module andmetallogenic information extraction module. The basic GIS function module includes view management, vectorgraphquery, attributes table, figure operation, spatial analysis and layout, which iscompleted by calling interfaces of ArcGIS Engine. The detailed technique isthose:â‘ using those tool button that is offer by ArcGIS Engine to finish somesimple GIS function, â‘¡programming by function that comes from object libraryof ArcGIS Engine to realize the others. Minerogenic information extractingmodule is composed of data advanced processing, magentic and gravity dataprocessing, radioactivity data processing and evalution methods. There are manyprograms designed by Fortran or Visual C++, which can only run with Dosinterfaces, so it is not very convenient for us to use these programs. Many timeand energy can be saved if we can reuse these existing programs by mixedprogramming. First, these existing programs should be redesigned or changed toDLL, then these DLLs can be called with Visual Basic language to realize themodule's fuctions. All the models and sub-models share uniform interface anddata format in this system, which have realized the compact integration betweenGIS and metallogenic information extraction techniques. A majority of basicGIS functions have been finished and a part of DLLs have been redesigned inminerogenic information extracting module. At the same time, a lot ofexperiences was gained during the software'development, which will benefit thesoftware's extension and perfection. This paper illustrates the application of SVD method to process ofaeromagnetic data , developes the program module and realizes the compactintegration between SVD and GIS platform using mixed programming. In knownuranium mineralized area, by the combination of orthogonal spacecorresponding to different singular values , the good application effect has beenobtained in the fields of separation of regional and local fields , weakinformation extraction of sandstone-type uranium deposits and recognition offault structures . At last, the author apply system software to uranium survey project innorth of Ordos basin. Multi-source geoscience information data base includinggeologic, geochemical, geophysical, remote sensing and hydrology data areestablished; based on system software, author have completed all kinds of datamanagement, metallogenic information extraction, deposit-exploration mode...
