Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is a practical and effective decision analysis method. It has been widely applied to society, economy, management and engineering systems. With the development of AHP theory and the actual requirements of applications, the fuzzy idea and fuzzy method are introduced to AHP, which is in accord with the fuzziness of human being's thought and objective reality. Therefore, the research on decision making problem based on the fuzzy judgement matrices has attracted more and more atterntion recently. This paper studies theory and methods for decision making problems based on fuzzy complimentary judgement matrix. The main research works are as follows:Chapter 1 introduces some basic conceptions on decision making. The recent research on theory and methods for decision making problem based on judgement matrices is briefly reviewed. The main research problems in this paper are also involved. In Chapter 2, the existing methods for ranking alternatives based on the fuzzy complementary judgement matrix are first reviewed. Then, two new methods for ranking alternatives are proposed. The proposed methods are supplement and extension of the ranking theory.Chapter 3 investigates the fuzzy AHP based on fuzzy complementary judgement matrices. The basic theory, methods and procedure of making decision analysis with the fuzzy AHP are given, and the existing problems are also pointed out.In Chapter 4, multiplicative sonsistency of interval complementary judgement matrix is studied in theory aggregatedly, the paper studies the properties of consistent interval complementary judgement matrix, which supplement and develop the theory of the uncertain type of AHP.In the end, this paper is summarized and we look to the vista of decision analysis theory based on the fuzzy complementary judgement matrix.
