The Information Technology Ethic And Its Review In Philosophy

In the research of technology ethic, the relationship between technology and ethic has always been a disputed question. The existing researches on this question, no matter the theory of instrumentalism, the theory of social constructivism, the theory of determinism of technology, or the theory of the technological process, are all based on the question whether technology loads value/ ethic problems. Furthermore, the research on whether technology can load value/ ethic is the core of all the problems. If technology can load value, the former will have some relationship with the latter. Otherwise, there is no meaning to talk about the relation between technology and value/ ethic. Therefore, the main purpose of this paper is to find out the factors that cause the ethical problems in the field of technology.The essence of technology includes the causes of ethical problems. It is not necessary to connect technology with ethic by any other medium. Thus, this paper deeply analyzes the thought, method and technique of information technology in the fields of logic outset, technology system, social application and self alteration, distinguishes many kinds of inner discrepancies and explains that these discrepancies are the ultimate causes of ethical problems. This paper also illustrates that it is the technological logic itself, not the value selection or hominine control decides that the problems of technology ethic are resulted from the inner discrepancies of technology.It is more reasonable to sum up information technology ethic not just from the phenomena but from its unique logic system. This paper concludes information technology ethic as Imperative of Responsibility, Power Confliction, Social Equity and Life Dignity. All of the above four aspects correspond directly with logic system of information technology and is the ultimate result of the function of information technology logic.The question why information technology and information technology ethic are cause and effect should be answered from philosophical aspect. The conversion of epistemological and the contradiction between reality and nihility brought by information technology are the philosophical explanation corresponding to information technology ethic.
