| It is GPS Vehicle Monitoring System studied in this paper. It is an combination of computer network and database,GPS,GIS,communication and sensors technology. It has these following merits: wide monitoring range, convenience for management and operation, economical feasible, low cost, high efficiency and easy to prevail. This thesis have a deep research about the system structure, function and key technologies on GPS mobile vihicle monitoring system and also carries out a design scheme.We also develop a GPS mobile terminal on vihicle which has practical application value.The mobile terminal on vehicle is developed using embedded operation system based Cygnal C8051F020 microcomputer unit, its efficiency and reliability is very high, and it can easily execute multitask program. The system used the ripe industrial GSM module, and the module can be controlled by AT command. The system used the 12-channel high reliability and precision GPS OEM board. We can use it to get the best GPS satellite signal in bad weather and traffic environment. The system also used OLED display module in the terminal of vehicle. In the software sysytem developing, we divide the system based on the modularization-devising method, and give some schemes of various module-realization. This thesis has analyzed the merits of the GPS data transmission by GSM Short Message Service. The GSM Short Message Service has following merits: the GSM network is wide, and need not construct a new communication network; low error probability; large system capacity; low expenses on sending SMS. It also analyzed the Short Message Service's transport protocols and its implementation. Experimental results on automobile location shows that the system has reached the result of wide monitoring range, large system capacity, high reliability of GPS data. The system has good practical value and certain extensible ability. |
