The bank landslide of reservoir is a most important engineering geological problem thatcome into being with the hydropower Station being constructed. Lots of studies have beendone during past years. The landslides of reservoir are not only dangerous to hydropowerStation, but also affect the economic benefit of the hydropower station. As the developingquickly of hydropower, the importance of the landslides of reservoir is being more realized bypeople. The landslide of DaHua locates the upriver right bank of the Da Hua Bridge hydropowerstation which is situated the upriver of the LanCangJiang river. The reconnaissance data andmonitor data about the landslide of DaHua are detailed. The study of its stability not only isvery important for this reservoir running but also can be referred to for others bank landslidesof constructing and proposed hydropower Station. According to the method and system of study landslide: "from geological mechanismanalysis and stability evaluation and numerical simulation analysis and conclusion to methodsof dealing with", this dissertation has researched the stability of the DaHua landslide beforeand after the reservoir storing water. Firstly, Based on the investigation of spot and analysis of amounts of data of explorationand monitor about landslide of DaHua and lots of documents being referred, the dissertationsummarizes the characteristics and mechanism from terrain physiognomy and stratum lithologyand hydrogeology and earthquake and manpower activity etc. Hereby, this paper carries outgeological analysis deeply and find out the geological reason and slippage mechanism ofDaHua landslide. Using two different rigid body margin equity, this paper analyses the stabilityof DaHua landslide after different conditions before and after storing water. The dissertationestablishes three-dimension-FLAC model to research characteristics of deformation field. Thedeformation law that was revealed by monitor data is reappeared. It also evaluates the stabilityof the DaHua landslide before and after the reservoir storing water. Through analyzing the geological reason and slippage mechanism of DaHua landslide, inallusion to the characteristics of DaHua landslide, the dissertation gives some economical andreasonable suggestion on how to deal with the DaHua landslide.
