With the popularization of higher education, higher-vocational education hasbecome one of the most important parts of it with its double characteristics of highereducation and vocational education. As the main current of higher educationpopularization, vocational educators are building up. It is urgent to do the researchabout methodology of teaching and studying of higher-vocational education.This thesis paper unifies the training goals of higher-vocational education, andresearching the application of mathematic study strategy of higher-vocational collegestudents through investigations which are in view of the characteristics ofmathematics study and the teaching requirements of advanced mathematics. Doing theresearch of mathematics study strategy is of great theoretical and practicalsignificance for improving higher-vocational students' effective study and realizingthe education goals of advanced mathematics.This thesis paper is based on the analysis of the mathematics study strategyconnotation, structure and correlation research and influence factors. It unifies thedistinctive quality of mathematics learning activity, the present situation ofmathematics study and the existing questions, and it proposes mathematics studystrategy characteristic and the commonly used type of higher-vocational collegestudents. The paper thought the commonly used mathematics study strategy mainlyincludes: time management strategy, information-processing strategy,Study-assistance strategy, self-regulative strategy and the application strategy. Itprofits from many meters of the domestic and foreign studies strategy research anddesigned the questionnaires about higher-vocational college students' mathematicsstudy strategy and has done the multiple perspectives system analysis to the testresult. This questionnaire tests 542 students in Jinan Vocational College about theapplication level of mathematics study strategy, and has done the preliminarydiscussion about the relationships of mathematics study strategy and grades, differentorigins of students and genders. The research proves: 1. Mathematics study strategy isrelated to grades obviously. 2. Students from high school share nearly the same levelon mathematics study strategy with students from vocational school. 3. Boys differfrom girls in Study-assistance method and the application strategy distinctively, butthere are no obvious difference on strategy level and grades.In the end, according to the investigation result, this paper has carried on furtheranalysis about mathematics study strategy characteristics of vocational collegestudents and has got the comparison of the applications of study strategy for differentkinds of students. The paper unifies investigation results and vocational collegeteaching practice to summarize the vocational college mathematics teachingenlightenments and to propose teaching methods, study strategy teaching directiveand implementation steps to different mathematics study strategy. It provided for thegeneral vocational educators teaching methodology reference, and provided formillions of vocational college students instructions about study methods. Thisresearch has enriched our country's theoretical achievements about mathematics studystrategy, and deepened the fundamental researches for vocational college students'mathematics study instruction.
