| This article deals with the mineralization potential forecast through the GISmethod to the porphyry copper deposits of Southeast Asia area, and the followingconclusions are drawn: 1.For the first time the GIS method is applied to carry on theporphyry copper deposit potential appraisal forecast in the Southeast Asia area basedon the database system, and to select the mineralization prospect areas through themineralization model as well as geography and social factor. 2. 11 mineralizationprospect areas are obtained in the Southeast Asia area through the system analysis.They mainly are located Burma, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, which providesthe theory reference to the "Walk out" strategy for the mineral resource. 3. The 11mineralization prospect areas are graded according to the factors controlling the ore,the different social factors and political economy in each prospect area. These providethe basis to carry on the mineral resource cooperation under the condition limit in theSoutheast Asia area. |
