Study On Rule Of Growing-up Process And Cultivating Mode Of Innovative Geologic Elites

Geologic work is pioneering and foundational in the economic and social development,serving all aspects of this society. Having entered the 21st century, economic development ismore and more restricted by resources and environment. Therefore, enhancing geologic workfrom all aspects is an important approach to soothing the tight restriction from resources andsafeguarding economic development. Enhancing geologic work must rely on science andtechnology development and technological innovation –to innovate in science and technologyfields and to place the people with abilities as the root of social development. Education isfundamental to cultivate science and useful people. After many researches and analysis, thepaper found that to bring up innovative geologic elites is based on following the rules of anelite's growing up process and building up new cultivating mode.This paper employs multi-subjects syncretic researching method, combining qualitativeand quantitative analysis method and comparing in different angles, systematically summing upthe rules of an innovative geologic elite's growing up process on the basis of many researchesdone by experts and scholars: elite strategy is the key;personal quality is the premise;educationis the basis;study and practice are the masterstroke;exploration and innovation are the core.According to geologic science's new characteristics and the fundamental adjustment of thegeologic elites structure, this paper designs a questionary on elite cultivating mode, andinvestigate the young technological and managing staff in geologic field. On the basis of manydiscussions, field researches and collecting different opinions, the paper sums up the younggeologic elites' suggestions on geologic education mode.Aiming at the shortcomings of the traditional geologic education mode, the paperannounces to put the view of scientific development as a leader;to consider the geologic work's"four overall plans" (to plan geologic work implement and the need of economic and socialdevelopment as a whole;to plan commonweal geologic research and commercial geologicexploration as a whole;to plan mining exploration and environment geologic exploration as awhole;to plan national geological development and geologic research opening policy as a whole)as a guide;to place the purpose mode, the management mode and process mode as a directory;to make the sixteen words' guideline "excellent qualities;firm fundamental knowledge;extensive knowledge;intensive specialty" as a basic standard;to employ the scientificcultivating plans, advanced teaching methods, innovative prompting mechanism and excellentinnovative atmosphere as a teaching process;to focus on plenty of geologic practices and make areasonable measurement system as a guarantee, thus building up a new mode of cultivatinginnovative geologic elites and training a group of elites resources to support the geologic work inthe new age.
