The paleoenvironment and paleoclimate is a hot crossing and multi-subject.There are much information of paleoclimatic environment in loess- paleosol and it has been studied by many scientists.This thesis studies North of Dabie Mountain, the area is interface of Chinese zoology and environment. To study loess- paleosol of the area, the history of paleoenvironment and paleoclimate is known and there are important meanings for development of economy and society.Through studying geochemical elements in two profiles and analysing of magnetic susceptibility, the rules of the environment of middle Pleistocene is maybe obtained, it can supply scientific gist to forcast anon variety of environment. Parimary results are drawn:(1) Through contarsative research on FeO/Fe2O3, at the beginning of the North of Dabie Mountain it is cold-arid, little rain, weak airslake;at the middle of metaphase, it became warm, much rain.(2)Through contarsative research on SiO2/Al2O3 , from middle Pleistocene it has been alkaline environment in North of Dabie Mountain.(3)The layer GX-3 of shangcheng and GS-4 of guangshang was formed at the same time or close time.Studying of geochemical elements,paletempertaure, frequency dependent susceptibility and the results of watching in the field.We can find from middle Pleistocene, it went through many times of cold-warm and warm-humid, problobly went through drought, warm-humid, cold-arid, warm-humid.
