| The deformation of metal structures in magnetic field, which is an essential problem in modern high-tech equipment, is a new scientific research field including physics and solid mechanics. First of all, based on Maxwell equations, the electromagnetic force and the deformation are obtained in metal annular plate under the transverse magnetic field. Then the elastic and plastic critical magnetic pressure is achieved respectively.The radial elastic and plastic displacement of metal annular plate, which is axis symmetrical, in the magnetic field, can be calculated by 2D finite element method. Also the relationship between the deformation and the equivalent magnetic pressure force can be attained.The buckling curve can be acquired by the other FEM program. The result indicates that the amplitude of the curve increases as the equivalent magnetic pressure force. |
