The Ethics Thinking On The Security Problem Of Modern Gene Technology

The development of gene technology means great to human society. In the future years, human life may change greatly with the development of gene technology. Gene technology contains human's longing for science benefit, also human's deepest worry---- many problems will be triggered, among which ethical problems related cause attentions, because this technology is directly applied in human body. A majority of experts and scholars agree with the guidance and supervision of ethical principles to gene technology; they think ethical principles and gene technology should supplement and complement each other, and a trans-subject comprehensive study of social sciences and natural sciences should be carried out. The author thinks when gene technology is developing rapidly now, from the point of ethics, it is an urgent and realistic to rationally comprehend ethical disputes caused by gene technology and the ethical source of these disputes, and to build corresponding ethical principles to guide practices. Therefore, this thesis is written to help solve these disputes, reduce and protect risks from gene technology, realize the guidance and supervision of ethical principles to gene technology and make the technology serve the human and ecological environment.On the basis of brief background introduction to gene technology research and application, the thesis generally analyzes the social meaning of gene technology and ethical disputes followed, and discusses its advantageous and disadvantageous impact on human and ecological environment so as to comprehensively make clear gene technology and its impact. Also, from the point of ethics, this thesis analyzes the ethical sources of safe application of gene technology and its impacts on traditional ethical concept. When discussing the ethical sources, environmental ethical concept is introduced, and the nature is involved as a subject of adjustment to solve the problem which only human is looked as the main part in the previous ethical system corresponded with gene technology.
