Dynamics of solid-fluid interaction studies the interactions between the diversified behaviors of deformable solids under the action of fluid field and the influence upon the fluid field by the deformation of the solids. It is one theoretical foundation for the complex dynamic systems, especially for the fields of spacecraft dynamics and ocean exploitation engineering etc. With further developments of aviation enterprises and irrigation works, the study of dynamic behavior of solid-fluid interaction has been increasingly concerned. Therefore, in order to better approach the practical conditions of the coupling system and disclose the essential characters of mechanical property, it is necessary to consider the effects of the factors such as the flexural rigidities and structural geometric parameters of the elastic container and the depth and density of the liquid to the dynamical behaviors of the coupling system synthetically. At present, the research on dynamics of solid-fluid interaction is generally based on the assumption that the containers are rigid which cannot meet the truth. Meanwhile, there is only little research on the dynamic behaviors of the coupling system under different external excitations. On the basis of systematic summary of recent development related to this field, in-depth research on the preceding problems has been carried out in this dissertation systematically. There are two parts in this dissertation. The research on the free vibrations of the coupling system with elastic containers has been carried out in the first part. This part includes chapter 3 and chapter 4. Based on the mechanism of solid-fluid interaction in these two chapters, the free vibration equations of solid-fluid interaction with elastic containers are established, and the free vibration frequencies are obtained by Galerkin method. Agreement between the theoretical result of this article and other references shows that the present method is feasible. The research result of the first part indicates that the flexural rigidities and structural geometric constants of the elastic containers and the depth and density of the liquid can affect the frequencies of the system, furthermore, the hypothesis that the containers are rigid overrates the frequencies of the coupling system. The research on the dynamic behaviors of the coupling system under different external excitations of horizontal motion has been carried out in the second part. This part includes chapter 5 and chapter 6. Based on the mechanism of solid-fluid interaction in these two chapters, the forced vibration equations of the coupling...
