Research On The Consistency Problem Of AHP

AHP was put forward in seventy years by professor T.L.Saaty of University of Pittsburgh ,the American operational .It is a very practical multi-decision making method which combines the quality and the quantity ,and makes man's subjective judgment be expressed and disposed using number. When we use AHP to make decisions ,we have to analyze in virtue of compared judgment matrix ,but that the matrix is reasonable or not will have direct affect on the decision .Moreover ,the important rule which judges the matrix be reasonable or not is the matrix which has absolute consistency or satisfied consistency. When the constructed matrix has absolute consistency, the final priorities are the same though we use different priority methods. This doesn't affect the objectivity .But When the constructed matrix doesn't have absolute consistency or satisfied consistency , the final priorities are different if we use different priority methods. This will affect the objectivity deeply. So we will research the consistency of matrix in detail ,the mainly research results are these:In Chapter 1, the basic aspects of the AHP are stated. Then, the recent researches on consistency in AHP are concluded, and the main research contents are also involved.In Chapter2, the researches on the consistency test and adjustment of traditional AHP are concluded, and then propose a method of consistency test and adjustment.
