The purpose of the paper was to investigate the species composition, fauna and zoogeography of terrestrial mollusk in Guizhou. Most of the terrestrial mollusk specimens collected from 22 sampling sites in Guizhou in the last ten years were involved. The primary analytical results were used to discuss the distribution structure of terrestrial mollusk in Guizhou. Additionally, the combination between utilization of terrestrial mollusk and environmental protection were discussed basically as well.About 50 thousand specimens were collected which belong to 250 species and subspecies, 19 families, 66 genera, 4 orders and 2 classes. The result of faunal analysis of terrestrial mollusk showed that South–Western China species of terrestrial mollusk accounted for 0.80% with 2 species. Central China species occupied 36.00% with 90 species. About 16.40% (41 species) of the total were Southern China species. A few Palaearctic species were recorded. The Northern China species held 0.80% with 2 species. The Mongolian-Xinjiang species occupied 2.40% with 6 species. The Northern-East China species...
