Apramycin is broad-spectrum antibiotics. The strain,producingsingle component of nebramycinapramycin,Stenebrarius A04-3 and itsvariants are studied in this paper.By seeking for the biosythesismechanism of apramycin,the experimental results suggest thatphosphorylglyceric acid,the metabolite of glycerol,regulates thebiosythesis of apramycin;the nitrogenous organic chemical-NB,probably is involved in the biosythesis of apramycin after joiningin the nitrogen metabolism and results in a high increas in theapramycin production.Thus,the rational screening model with materNB as the inducer was established. S.tenebrarius A04-3,wich sparelysporulated,was used in the mutation.By the treatment of theprotoplast , the enymolized mycelium fragment and the sporesuspension of the strain with mutagen,combined with the applicationof screening models,three well-sporulated and high-producingstrains NTG were obtained,the titer reaches between 3800 and4900u/ml.
