The Interacting Boson Model is one of the most significant models in theory of nuclear physics. Investigation on properties of the model is of importance. In this paper, a Fortran code for numerical computation of the matrix elements in the SU(3) symmetry-adapted basis is given. In virtue of the program, analysis of transitional patterns in the whole parameter space of the consistent-Q Hamiltonian in the model is carried out. Results with respect to both overall and special situations of the model are discussed in detail. Quantum phase transional behavior under variety of parameter situations is also studied. Most importantly, it is found that transitional behavior of excited states are more complicated. Pt isotopes are taken as an example in illustrating the results.
