Underwater acoustic positioning technology is very important to prospecting and development for sea resource. It combines acoustic ranging technology, GPS technology with space positioning technology to position ocean targets. Ranging transponders is very important part in acoustic positioning system. They are used to decode and identify interrogative signal from data acquisition unit, transmit ID, finally, acquire rang identified. They are essential to accuracy, efficiency, reliability and working condition of underwater acoustic positioning system.In the dissertation research object is transponder in oil seismic prospecting First, paper discusses the effect of shallow underwater channel to acoustic ranging and analyzes the theory of acoustic positioning system in oil seismic prospecting, finally, accomplishing total hardware and firmware design of Ranging transponder applied in underwater oil seismic prospecting, including acoustic communication method, circuit design, communication encode method, specially discusses MCU program, by testing many times, Finally we can manufacture it, achieve self-innovation. Contents of dissertation include:1 Analyzes the interrupting principle of transmission loss, multipath to acousticcommunication.2 Select FSK communication method to combat multipath effect.3 Select reliable encode method to improve tansponder's responding rate.4 Circuit design of sound transduction, acquisition, decoding, judgment.5 Circuit design of sound transduction, transmission.6 Compose MCU procedure and working flow.
