There are five parts in this dissertation. Part 1 briefly describes the importance of the vibrational spectrum and the molecular dissociation energy of diatomic molecular electronic states. Part 2 outlines some methods used to study these quantities. Part 3 introduces the Algebraic Method (AM) and Algebraic Energy Method (AEM) which are proposed to study the full vibrational energy spectra and dissociation energies of diatomic molecules. In part 4, the AM is applied to obtain full vibrational energies for some electronic sates of Alkali Hydride diatomic molecules; The dissociation energies of these molecular electronic states are studied using the AEM. Conclusion of this dissertation is given in part 5.The results show that the AM can generate accurate vibrational spectro-scopic constants and full vibrational energies{E_v} by solving algebraic equation AX = E from a known accurate vibrational energy subset [E_v], and the AEM can obtain correct molecular dissociation energy based on the AM full vibrational energies.
