A Study And Practice Of Data Management And Editor System Of Coastal Map

Coastal map is a thematic map which record and describe spatial geography information and correlation of the narrow and long land terrain features of coast belt and marine element of shallow sea, surveying and maping by photogrammertry technique above instantaneous water line, marine elements information are required by detecting of bottom characteristics and bathymetric survey technique below nstantaneous water line. There is a sharp contrast between photogrammertry and bathymetric survey in the operation efficiency, so it is difficult to acquire cartography data information in the same time. Marine element can be finished only by use of history dataum and compiling in the mapping practice.There are many problem need to be studied and solved in the marine emelent data compliation because history datun have vast difference in some facets,such as category, precesion, scale, currency, etc.Setting out from the practice of mapping technique, this paper based on analyzing the existing problem of marine element datum compilation analysis study for the following problems.1. Combining the surveying and mapping technique current status of coastal map and special data type and data format, coastal map data management and compilation prototype system is devised.2. Amending and perfecting coastal map symbole system, then designing and making symbole editor.3. Automatic interpolation of charted depth annotated point, automatic selection of marine topography feature point and automatic build of bathymetric contour come true by using history data.4. Sea bottom terrain three dimension display is built according to the depths data.
