Geographic Model Library is base on the object-oriented technologies, which composed by several geographic modules in the form of COM. The Geographic Model Library can provide users with interfaces for the second developing. Each module in Geographic Model Library contributes to the different aspects of the whole model. The modules in the geographic model library are organized well, in spite of their types, periods when they brought out and developing language. In a specific application, modules can be organized according GUI (Graphic User Interface) and other rules, which then form a graphic model application system. This paper underlies the research on the design and implement of the geographic model library. The specific researches are presented in the following chapters. In chapter one, an overview is given to review the development of geographic model library along with the significance of the research. In chapter two, we discuss how to divide the whole models into different classes and how to organize them. The geographic models appeared in this paper are also covered.Key technologies and methodologies are deeply research in chapter three. Design, architectural, data accessing and model visualization is the main contend in this paper, and the whole topics are designed and implemented based on the object-oriented technology.Chapter four discusses the design of computable geographic models, focusing on the classes designing used in the model. Some classed are implemented, including Spatial Data Classify Class, Relative Analyses Class, Regress Analyses Class, Time Serial Analyses Class, principal composition Analyses Class and System Clustering Analyses Class. An example is given at the end of this chapter.Similar with chapter four, some classes for spatial interpolation are designed, including Trend Surface Interpolation Class, IDW Interpolation Class, Sheet Spline Interpolation Class and Kriging Interpolation Class. An example is displayed for showing the using of those classes. In last chapter, chapter six, some topics refer to the design of Regional Layout Model Class. Classes, that for the use of layout and allocation, structural functionality, prediction analyses, optimizing and layout, decision-making and so on, are discussed and implemented. Finally, an running example is given.
