| With the high accurate positioning ability, high rate of observation, good flexibility and low price, GPS measurement is favored by surveyors. With the emergence and development of GPS, measurement positioning technique takes place revolutionary changes, which provides new technique and method of surveying. GPS provides both high plane accuracy and height data; Traditional technique of positioning such as angle measurement, distance measurement and leveling measurement are replaced by GPS that has high rate, high efficiency and high accuracy gradually.In March of 2005, we carried out control survey and engineering point survey on Baiyinhua area of Inner Mongolian Autonomous Region through GPS, this project is a general investigation on underground water resources, both plane control and height control are satisfying. The thesis mainly introduces principle of GPS measurement, sets forth the GPS application in process and effect of project control survey and RTK technology layout with a view of project practice, analyses and compares GPS height measurement accuracy, sums up experience of GPS application in resource prospecting control survey and engineering survey, provides reference for relevance project. |
