Reservoir seismic prediction is the core technique of lithology formation oil/gas exploration.Reservoir seismic prediction is performed mainly by analyzing the interspace movement of the lithology, reservoir physical character and inside fluid attribution which result out as the corresponding changes of seismic reflection wave velocity, amplitude, phase, frequency and wave shape, therefore to predict the distribution scope and formation character of reservoir. Reservoir seismic prediction is significance technique method for fine description of lithology formation oil/gas reservoir and other types of oil/gas reservoir (such as structure oil/gas reservoir, structure-lithology combination oil/gas reservoir, etc.)This article detailed described the existing main techniques of reservoir seismic prediction and basic requirements for reservoir seismic prediction. Seismic inversion technique, seismic attribution analysis technique are the main techniques for reservoir seismic prediction. In this article, the Trace Integral Inversion, Recursive Inversion and Model Inversion are thoroughly analyzed, and the problems existing in these inversions techniques are addressed, further more, the characteristics and application results of these techniques are analyzed and compared. This article also performed detail discusses on seismic attribution analysis, introduced mathematics model and physical significance of normal seismic attribution. The analysis and research on seismic attribution's pick-up, optimization and analysis method techniques are included as well.On the basis of reservoir seismic prediction technique and basic requirement researches, this article detailed introduced the application of reservoir seismic prediction technique on project "Fine Description and Benifit Area Prediction of Gulong Area Putaohua Oil Formation". During the project research period, summarized the lessons from reservoir prediction practice, and put forwarded reservoir prediction idea of "three periods and nine steps". Provided high quality data through improving frequency on seismic poststack data, set up fine interspace trellis for Putaohua oil formation with high resolution formation comparison and fine structure interpretation, took well-seismic relationship analysis and geological statistics analysis results as theoretic basis, applied means of NN seismic attribution prediction and well-seismic combined inversion, to perform reservoir description and prediction. On the basis of this, performed researcheson reservoir-controlling factor analysis, oil and gas gathering rules and reservoir establishing model of Putaohua oil formation, and performed prediction and evaluation of benefit oil/gas exploration area as well.Through the practically application researches of reservoir seismic prediction on Gulong area, it could be found that the accuracy of reservoir seismic prediction is directly related to seismic data processing, standardization of well logging data, structure formation interpretation and well demarcation, etc. The basic preparation should be done well in order to ensure the accuracy of prediction.
