The Application Of Integration Of Graphics And Information System In Land Resources Field

Digital Earth which is based on a core of GIS has been widely concerned in China. The Ministry of Land and Natural Resources has been emphasizing the construction of Digital Land for years. The construction of a national land information system which is suitable to national land management modernization, and which is has complete structure, various functions and advanced technologies, should be based on the latest information technology. Only by doing all the above, should we construct a complete national land and natural resources information system.Construction land approval information system is one of the most import parts of National land and natural resources Management information system. It is based on the approval of agricultural land conversion and the approval of land use. As the objective requirement of national land information, the implementation of the system has become the necessity to conform to the latest social development.The field of national land has the characteristics of having special business and complex workflow. According to these two characteristics, this paper begins to research the development of build of the integration of land use and administration. Based on the lower platforms, the author constructs and builds a national land use information system which is a truly integration of graphics and information by using the flexible construction-side platform. The system combines Arc SDE which is a spatial database engine and SQL Server which is a famous relational database, and implements the usage of the storing, indexing, managing and querying of land use spatial data. It is also implemented in the system the uniform access of business data and GIS spatial data. Deeply data mining is also resolved by the system. Actually, the system fulfills the need of land use department for both business auditing and everyday office working.The system has integrated as many factors as the land use can be related to as all the business of construction land use approval, basic database, GIS graphical and attribute data library, to a single, manageable environment to realize the uniform of business operation, function and some other information system. The integrated system assures the scientific management and full utilization of national land and resources, the effective work of land use approval, the consistent usage of land resources, the development of government.
