Based on the study of theory, this article has probed into the sexual distinction of the university students'mathematical capacity through the analysis of both their academic achievement and mathematics modeling competition performance, as well as the test of their mathematical capacity and random interview,and has taken this as the foundation to explore methods about sexual distinction education in higher mathematics education. This will certainly to be helpful to rich our education theory, to teach students in accordance with their aptitude ,to know themselves correctly ,and displays superiority, overcomes the inferiority, promotes individuality development.Combined the theories of psychology and education with the result of practical investigation, this paper makes a thorough analysis of the cause of sexual distinction from aspects of physiological factors, non-intelligence factors and social environment, then finds out that in forming the sexual distinction those factors work together with physiological factors being the objective reason, non- intelligence factors being the intrinsic mechanism and social environment factors being the subtle influence. It also puts forward some suggestions and measures on reducing the distinction through setting up correct sex view, using the non- intelligence factors to change the male and female's psychological condition, as well as improving educational environment. Through the research we can draw the conclusion: The sex difference question is the objective existence, but has been not extremely obvious in the university stage. Because the physiological aspect difference brings boys and girls the disposition behavior difference, the female university student is easier than the male university student the education method and the education pattern which accepts the current our country higher education aspect to use, thus displays in some foundation disciplines test result generally surpasses the male university student. But through mathematics modeling competition performance,mathematics ability test and random interview result, the male student is better than the female student in mathematics application ability and the innovation thought, this indicates the male university student adapts irritant and creative thought pattern.
