Tethys domain has always been the focus of the petroleum geology sector. As the part of the doma, Qinghai-Tibet Plateau plays a good role and reference function on understanding Tethys domain in China when it being with effective research and exploration. Meanwhile,with In-depth understanding on Petroleum Geology, The Data about it showed a geometric growth and data correlated each other increasingly complex. Traditional management of the geological model can't competent the works such as managing the multiple oil and gas basic geological data and digging deep-seated information from the date. Under the new situation of petroleum geological data management and application development ,it is a trend introducing Digital technology to the oil and gas basic geological data management, application, analysis.Based on the national oil and gas special project-"strategy of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau oil and gas resources survey and evaluation project." and through the pre-effective research and needs analysis, This paper disposaled the complex oil and gas basic geological data structuredly and hierarchically designed the database structure adapted to research and production. Then based on the structure of database' framework,Its launch a pilot study in external Qiangtang Basin of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau ,mainly in Cuoqing Basin with the work of data digitalize and structures petroleum geology desktop platform. And with the impact on oil and gas geological data storage, mining and other key issues has been paid attention to the study process. Meanwhile,Some exploratory studies has focus on the forefront petroleum geology issues such as Fault model's building and stratigraphic thickness line's intervention, Palaeogeography dynamic evolution, strata 3D model and profile analysis, oil and gas evaluation and petroleum prospects etc.
