Basing on the viewpoint of theαparticle structure of the 12Cnucleus, the P - 12C inelastic scattering is studied within Glauber multi-scattering theory. The P -αamplitudes including the spin effect, the form factor and the transition form factor ofαparticle in 12C nucleus are as inputs. The form factor ofαparticle in 12C nucleus is obtained by the wave-function of the ground state inαparticle structure model. According to the relations of the transition form factor of 12Cnucleus, the transition form factor ofαparticle in 12C nucleus and the form factor ofαparticle, one can obtain the transition form factor ofαparticle in 12Cnucleus.We adopt the Glauber theory to derive the inelastic scattering cross section and the analyzing-power of the P - 12C inelastic scattering. The P- 12C inelastic scattering differential cross section for the 2+ (4.43MeV) sate and 3- (9.64MeV) sate of 12C are calculated at the incident proton energy of TP=200,398,597,698,800,1040MeV .We also calculate the analyzing-power for the 2+ (4.43MeV) sate and 3- (9.64MeV) sate of 12Cat the incident proton energy of TP=200,398,597,698,800MeV. Compared with experimental data, the results show that the diffraction of the P - 12C inelastic scattering differential cross section relates to the incident energy of proton. Meanwhile, the tendency of the cross section is all shown. The calculations are in agreement with the experimental data. The value of the cross sections and the position of minimum and maximum are all predicted. For the analyzing-power, the calculations approximately reflect the tendency. The main purpose of this paper is proving theα-particle structure viewpoint of the 12C nucleus in the P - 12C inelastic scattering aspect. The results show that it is positive.
