In order to research the effect of exogenous IFN-γon the expression of IL-4,the model of early pregnancy rats were established by using the method of immunohistochemical ultrasensitive SP to study the expression of IL-4 in hypothamic,pituitary,ovary and uterus in preimplantation and postimplantation. The results were as follows:The IL-4 positive production located major in pre-opticus part and area supraoptic, incoluding nucleus pre-opticus magno cellularis, nucleus pre-opticus lateralis, nucleus pre-opticus medialis, nucleus suprachiasmaticus, nucleus supra-opticus, nucleus paraventricularis medialis, nucleus periventricularis hypothalami.In tuberal part and mamillary body part, there were few expression of Il-4.In other part of rat brain such as hippocampus anterior, cerebral cortex, optic tract.The numbers of IL-4 Immunoreactive cells and intensity were decrease and attenuated from frontal pole to occipital pole.the expression of IL-4 immunoreactive productions were decreased after injection of IFN-γ(75 000 IU each,25 000 IU each)in these nucleus,as the dose increased.In postimplantation the IL-4 immunoreactive productions were more than which were in preimplantation.In adenohypophsis IL-4 immunoreactive productions were mostly distributed over cell envelope. But over neurohypophysis IL-4 immunoreactive productions were hardly observed. The expressions of IL-4 immunoreactive productions were decreased from preimplantation to postimplantaion.May be the increase of Anti-exclusion ability of embryo induced this result.And the IL-4 immunoreactive productions decreased as the injection dose of IFN-γincreased,and this verified the rivalry effectiveness between IL-4 and IFN- IL-4 immunoreactive productions were mostly distributed over the ovary stroma-cell envelope, cell nucleus of corepus luteum and intercellular substance.There were IL-4 immunoreactive productions over glandular epithelium cells, uterus cavity epithelium cells and cellular membrane of uterus stroma-cell.In postimplantation expression of IL-4 immunoreactive productions were more than in preimplantation,which means that IL-4 play a important part in postimplantation.Injection of IFN-γinduced Th1 dominance in pregnancy rats,than broken the balance of Th1/Th2 cytokine,and finally induced an abortion...
