The present dissertation is a systematic study on the Chinese EvacanthinaeCicadellidae. The dissertation briefly summarized taxonomy research history andadvance of the Cicadellidae, systematically reviewed the taxonomy status and thetaxonomy evolution of Evacanthinae, and taxonomy research survey and advance of Worldand China, as well as economic significance. It also introduced character of classificationand research method involved in research.The dissertation made a systematic study on the Chinese Evacanthinae Cicadellidae,base on Evacanthinae specimens which were collected by our units, presented by otherunits, as well as by myself. The dissertation recoded 131 species in total of theEvacanthinae from China, which are grouped into 20 genera. These include 8 new species.Every genera has characteristic description. Most species is fully described, and an accountof its distribution and, if possible, host plant and diagnostic remarks are included. Keys tothe genera and species are made. Illustrations of critical characters of adults are given.New species: Bundera angulata sp. nov.; Carinata aurantiaca sp. nov.; Carinatapectinata sp. nov.; Carinata gladia sp. nov.; Onukia elliptica sp. nov.; Onukia aculeatesp. nov.; Pythamus albimaculatus sp. nov.; Taperus spinosus sp. nov.There are acknowledge and main reference at the end.
