The sparseness of wells has become the bottleneck of the research in the reservoir valuation of shallow sea area. Making best use of the horizontal continuity and the various information of seismic data is the most available key to this problem. It is the most exigent key problem to how to make the multi-discipline integrated. Aiming at these problems, two key aspects are researched with the thought of'research from technology investigation to technology improvement, then check it out in the application research, and attempt to generate laws from the research': (1) how to make the multi-discipline integrated, make full use of the advantage of every kind of information and how to make the information feedback of multi-disciplines. (2) look for reasonable research method according to the characters of the reservoir valuation research in the shallow sea area and make fine description of reservoir in ZhangDong block of DaGang shallow sea area. Three conclusions are generated: (1) developing the method of sedimentary system constrained inversion, which gives the inversion result more geological information and contains more low-frequency information ;(2) developing the technology of 90o phasing to the more reasonable phasing technology ;(3) develop the concept of 'seismic reservoir geology research', and define it as' in the reservoir valuation research in the area with seismic data as the main data, make a combinational and feedback research of geophysics, well logging, sedimentology, stratigraphy and development geology with the high vertical resolution of well data and the horizontal continuity of the seismic information to get a reasonable and fine description of reservoir'.
