Chengdao oil field is located in the shallow sea or very-shallow sea in south of Bohai bay. As a typical duplex concentration area of oil and gas, Chengdao oil field has Neogene drape, Paleogene overlap and Pre-tertiary three-layer structure. Based on the oil and gas resources evaluation, it gets the geologic conditions to be a big-and- middle sized oil field and has great of hydrocarbon exploration, which are one of the most potential oil field in Shengli oil field. The thesis analyzes fault systems'attribute property and studies recognition method in Chengdao oil field in order to implement the structural location and characteristics of the work area, which will be helpful to the exploration and development of oil and gas resources in Chengdao area. The thesis does the fundamental research based on the single layer, then promotes to the entire region, finally carries on the confirmation analysis and draws the conclusion.Firstly, combined with regional geology background, structure location and forming mechanism,the author introduces structure evolution history of work area:Palaeozoic Era——Early-Mesozoic Era folding and abnormal fault developmental period; Mesozoic Era block fault buried hill preliminary formation period; early Cenozoic extensional function and block fault buried hill formation period. The integral evolution character in Chengdao area is similar with that in Jiyang depression, which is closely related to the rotation in the east of Tan-lu fault and Luxi uplift.Secondly, in view of analysis of seismic data's attribute property and research of recognition method about fault system, the thesis simply introduces some relative seismic attributes (especially the related attributes) and two methods to identify fault system, including coherence analysis and dip sweeping.Lastly, taking Kendong30---Kendong48 as an example, the author explains two seismic profiles, respectively taking vertical and parallel host structure direction, and analyzes fault structure at tributes, based on the geology background in work area. According to the research of relations between coherence analysis,seismic attribute and fault system, dip sweeping,interlayer attribute extraction and fault system, the thesis makes application analysis and illustrates which attributes can better reflect fault system, which recognition methods can identify fault system more obviously. The thesis also makes use of RAVE attribute visualization to verify the chosen seismic attributes and recognition method. In view of confirmation result, the thesis obtains time structure map and then makes use of Dongying speed to make time-depth conversion, finally gets fracture system composite graph.Although fault character is so complex and many small faults exists in Chengdao area, the author suggests that the seismic attributes and recognition method summarized in this thesis can well identify fault systems in the work area, and is going to be work in other areas.
