Seismic attributes are specific measurements of geometric, kinematic, dynamic, or statistical features derived from seismic data. Seismic attribute which reflects the comprehensive characteristics of seismic data, correlates with the subsurface structure, reservoir lithology and reservoir properties, plays an important role in structural and lithologic interpretation, reservoir description as well as reservoir dynamic monitoring.Seismic attributes can be divided into geometrical attributes and physical attributes. Geometrical attributes usually relate to seismic horizon’s geometric shapes(like dip, azimuth and curvature, etc.), which are effect to describe geologic configuration, hierarchy and fault system. Physical attributes consist of kinematic and dynamic attributes, included amplitude, waveform, frequency, velocity and attenuation, are mainly used in reservoir lithological change. This paper aims to predict reservoir with seismic geometrical attributes such as seismic coherence properties, curvature attribute, seismic texture attributes, and combine with actual application in the actual work area, compare and analyze the results, and form a set of practical techniques off ault identification. This paper introduced the wavelet frequency coherence method to interpret fractures developing. Then the fractures developing prediction was accomplished through analyzed the bending properties of Curvature attribute. Based on curvelet transform correlation method, strength and direction distribution of fractures developing zones were both predicted. Finally, according to Fuzzy C-Means Clustering algorithm, analysis of seismic texture properties was illustrated for channel developing prediction.
