The 21st century is the marine century. Establishing Chinese coastal zone and offshore science data integration platform, and supplying multilevel resolution remote sensing data andrelevant context and special data, which must come down to the problems of integration and sharing of numerous coastal zone multi-source spatial data with characters of long time sequences and wide spatial extension. Most of spatial data sharing platforms at present are still based on traditional geographic metadata mode, which has some disadvantages in practice due to the simple way it supplied in the means of text or brief figure; On the other hand, with the popularization of internet, integrating and visualization sharing of multi-source spatial data unified on internet are required urgently by people.Grounded on the fore-mentioned problems, firstly, this paper fully researched the characteristics of coastal zone multi-source spatial data, analyzed the requirement of sharing multi-source spatial data based on visualization, put forward the technologic difficulties of realizing integration and sharing of multi-source spatial data, and then, aiming at the characteristics of multi-source spatial data, discussed the methods of integrating, querying and extracting multi-source spatial data visually. Finally, this paper took "Taiwan Strait area multi-source spatial data integration and sharing prototype system" as a case study, introduced the realization process of "Integration and dynamically sharing of multi-source spatial data", "Translating projection and integrating visually of multi-source spatial data", "Interactive querying of vector-raster Integration based on visualization", "Extracting multi-source spatial data based on visualization" functions based on ArcIMS. Our practice shows that the technologies for sharing multi-source spatial data provided in this paper, can satisfy users' sharing requirement in a well way of "What you see, what you get".The emphasis of the paper laid on two parts, the two solutions of technologic difficulties based on ArcIMS, which are "Interactive querying of vector and raster", and "Extracting multi-source spatial data based on visualization".
