Research And Implementation In GIS Integrated Web News Search Engine

As the growth of internet, information publish, collecting, searching become much more important. People have to face this challenge of the rapid growth of information on the web: it becomes harder for people to get the right information they need. Now, web information mining and searching and information visualization are the popular research fields.In this paper, I propose a new approach for internet information digging on news. This approach include a basic theory, attribute information data model, and basic algorithm for date digging integrating geography information and technology. First, it analyses the common model of the web news information. Second, it puts forward an location attribute model. Third, it introduces a basic algorithm for integrating geography information with topology. Fourth, we test our model and algorithm, compare to the result of analyzed by human, the methodology this paper introduce has a precision of 91.9%.Then, I explain the design and implement details of the GIS integrated news search engine, including the overview architecture, the internet spider engine, core geo-property analysis algorithm, and web GIS visualization based on the MSN Virtual Earth web service.At the end of the paper, I summary the innovation of ideas and technology, point out the disadvantage of this paper and the future research trend in fields. At last, I make a prediction about the application fields and trend of the model and technology described in this paper.
