After a longer period of development,Oil exploration seismic data signal processing technology has achieved many significant achievements. But, with oil field turning to development in many countries, it has put forward higher requirements in the future of the reservoir and described, it also requires improved the accuracy of seismic exploration, and this is the goal which is precisely geological workers have been pursuing.Digital processing of the seismic signal is aimed at the seismic records from the wild information, observation of their space, time and frequency of the characteristics, suppressing noise, increasing resolution, the signal for future depicted as accurately as possible the source of wave arrival reflection of the time or location of the interface, increasing and improving the seismic signal quality, easy to explain. Improving the seismic signal the resolution is to improve the quality of seismic signal one of the effective means, as how to improve the resolution of a seismic signal is an important link for processing of seismic signals.Improving the resolution of seismic data has been the goal of seismic data processing. In the actual data processing, first commonly analyze used means of improving the resolution of the seismic signal is the sis, and then the appropriate treatment. As we all know, for a long time, Fourier transform analysis of the seismic signal is the main tool. However, along with the development of the exploration, it demands increasingly high-resolution of seismic data, Because of limitations, Fourier transform can not meet the higher requirements. Because the signal characterized of Fourier transform is a certain period of the overall features of seismic signals. As a Fourier transform of an improvement, and although the window Fourier Transform has some local characteristics, the only window function of determining the uniqueness of the resolution so that we can not be based on seismic signals in various time different analysis of the changes to adjust the resolution. In recent years, begun to use seismic data processing in the wavelet transform, as it has a good local features, adjustment can be unrestricted analysis of the resolution, which show broad prospects. In fact, the seismic signal processing, not only of any use Fourier transform the problems can be used to solve the wavelet transform, but also to signal any time any details of the analysis and processing.Wavelet analysis is a analysis manner to the time scale of signal, it has the characteristics of multi-resolution analysis, and has the capacity to show the local features of signals characterized in two time-frequency domain, is a fixed window size but alterative its shape, is the time-frequency partial analysis manner when the time window and the frequency window change. That is, it has a high frequency resolution and lower temporal resolution in low-frequency, has time-resolution and low frequency resolution in high-frequency, it is suitable for detecting the attachment of transient abnormal phenomenon of seismic data processing in the normal signal and demonstrating its ingredients.
