Reservoir Liquid Predication Based On AVO Technique

AVO technique analyzes the characteristic and regular of the information of the amplitude of seismic waves varied with the offset, from which the properties and lithology of the oil and gas reservoirs can be predict and judged. Many researchers who research AVO for hydrocarbon detection has been undertaken. AVO technique identified the oil and gas based on the information of seismic after succeeded in "light spot" which has high amplitude in reflection. The analyze of the properties of the conventional seismic based on the common-depth-point stacking of the technology of "light spot", this technique improved the detection in hydrocarbons, but it had limitations, because of the stacking damaged the truly relationship of the amplitude and the cryptic information of S-wave was lossed.More rational method of analyze the seismic lithology include the information of nonzero offset, the amplitude of the pre-stack and the properties of seismic attribution.Anyway,it is the most important thought to AVO analysis that revealed the relationship between the lithology and the oil and gas through the analyzes the characteristic of pre-stack seismic information varied with the offset. The AVO technique is more exact than the "light spot".Nowadays, the tendency of seismic exploration is from two-dimension to triaxiality,and from pre-stack to post-stack, that we need know more in AVO technique. Along with the complex in resolving problem, there is more demand in collecting seismic data and processing, at the same time, the AVO technique improved on it's self. On account of the lithology, the scale of reservoirs and the noise in seismic signal, the preprocessing, AVO technique suffered so much.By reading literatures on AVO, the author studied systematically AVO theory, and petrophysics basis for AVO analysis. In different of geologic condition, the author analyzes the AVO characteristics of the oil and gas, and the particular of lithology,and establishes the relevant detecting indications of AVO, it can be detect and predict in actual seismic data.Directly.Different combination of lithology and different mediums have different characteristics of response, this gist can be used for actual seismic data in later. On base of that, the author uses the approximate equation of Zoeppritz to invert P and G, and obtain so many inversion profiles, such as PR and limited-gradient. Then contrast these profiles to find out seismic attributes which have more sensitively to fluid.
