Oil and natural gas are important strategic mineral and energy resources, related to national economic security and social stability. With the economic construction of the country's rapid development,the needs of oil and gas resources grow faster.In this paper,the study area which belongs to northeast oil and gas Asia is the eastern basin group outside the Daqing Peripheral area. Northeast oil and gas Asia including Inner Mongolia Yinshan and vast areas in Northeast China is important Mesozoic continental stratum oil-producing areas in eastern China.Daqing Peripheral areas are located in the basin groups in Heilongjiang Province, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Hulunbeir Region and Jilin Province. The depositional basins whose areas are more than 200 square kilometer are 27, with their total acreage is 18.53×10~4 square kilometer.The eastern peripheral basins of the Daqing exploration area has superior geographic advantages, being adjacent to China's major oil and gas producing areas - Songliao Basin. The exploration extent of each Basin is low, showing a relatively large exploration potentiality. In recent years, the exploration achievements make China's oil reserves continuous growth. These conditions show that the importace of exploration in the Eastern Peripheral Basins of the Daqing Exploration Area.The predecessors have made well research in the eastern peripheral basins of the Daqing exploration area, but due to the poor geological conditions and the low level of exploration, the research degrees are still relatively low. Although the degree of exploration in eastern basin is relatively higher, but there are still some problems , such as tectonic layer division in main basins, tectonic evolution stage,basin type, thermal evolution and hydrocarbon maturation history, favorable zones forecast etc.At present domestic articles that radiolarian cherts are expected to become good source rocks have not been published.Eastern basin group experienced intensive transformation after a basin,which lead to incomplete structure and tectonic. Eastern basin group in the form of remnants prserve in the present basins.So the study area is Mesozoic-Cenozoic folding basin and has been experienced several tectonic evolution stages. Determined of the basin types of Eastern basin group plays an important role to deeply understand tectonic evolution stage.Geographic Information System (GIS) is a computer science, geography, surveying, cartography, and other subjects integrated emerging interdisciplinary, the core of which is computer science, and technology is the basic database, maps, visual and spatial analysis. With GIS technology continues to be mature, many researchers apply GIS technology for oil and gas resources management and evaluation,or apply procedural design for Spatial distribution of oil and gas and quantitative evaluation,all of these method have not really realized the oil gas space distribution by layers and layers, folding and calculating layers and data. As distribution of oil and gas is confined by many factors,this paper standardizes layer information by attempting to establish evaluation model and evaluats the main basin based on GIS for enhancing the accuracy of spatial forecasting distribution.Currently, the research area have a small amount of oil wells ,and in some areas these are coalfield wells, exploration basically at the level of the initial exploration and intermediate stage. Overall, the area of research area is large, but less exploration, particularly seismic coverage area is small, little number of exploration wells. All these reasons constraints exploration of Daqing oil and gas exploration.To sum up, This paper launched"Petroleum Prospect Evaluation in the Eastern Peripheral Basins of the Daqing Exploration Area",Its intention is to evaluate basins petroleum geology condition on basis of the eastern basins structural evoluation and deposition character,to use basin group basic geology condition evaluation ,geology frame evaluation and basin analogy method evaluation for basin optimize ordering, that the basis of it,to evaluate the petroleum prospect of the eastern basin important stratigraphic position, finally,to propose important exploration area and strategy prospective area.It is not doubt that it cteates new condition for optimization of important basin peripheral exploration in the Eastern Peripheral of the Daqing Exploration Area,and there is an essential significance to deepen the research of the basin evolution regular pattern and peripheral exploration.The main body of a book is to rely on《Evolution and hydrocarbon potential of peripheral Mesozoic- Cenozoic faulted basin group in Daqing exploration area》(project encode XQ - 2004 - 07)which is the country peripheral strategy electoral district project,and researched"Petroleum Prospect Evaluation in the Eastern Peripheral Basins of the Daqing Exploration Area", reach the following conclusions and understanding:1. The south of hulin and Jixi basin were a basin in the Early Cretaceous,which were left offsetted by Dunmi fracture.2. It happened five regional deposition stopped at the end of early Triassic,late Jurassic ,early Cretaceous,late Cretaceous and discovery of ancient. According to the angle unconformity between Stratum, eastern late Mesozoic-Cenozoic basin group is divided into five structural layer.3. There are three structural style in the basins :stretching, squeezing and strike-slip tectonic style.4. Basin types of the study area are classified in the method of Dynamics, the research shows that the study area develops rift, pull-apart,foreland basin .5. According to sedimentary filling features, structural changes the information revealed by pattern of the basin and magmatic activity,we can broadly identify Mesozoic-Cenozoic five tectonic evolution stages: Triassic - early Jurassic tectonic evolution stage; The scope of transgression gradually expanded in the Late Jurassic Suibin period - Early Cretaceous Muling period, big Sanjiang basin gradually formed;Squeezed uplift stage at the end of early Cretaceous - Late Cretaceous period; Right strike-slip fault stage in Tertiary;Basin filling stage in new Tertiary.6. Margin rift basin of the study area developed marine strata in Late Triassic-Early Jurassic period, in particular radiolarian cherts and turbidites. radiolarian cherts is expected to become a good source rocks and producing gas is main.7. The eastern main basins are selected to sort in the method of oil and gas geological conditions assessment, geological framework evaluation and basin modeling combined.The results show that Petroleum Prospect in Tangyuan-Fangzheng faulted is best, followed by Sanjiang, Yanji, Jixi, Boli basin, Hulin and Ningan basin.8. We propose that Tangyuan-Fangzheng faulted and Sanjaing basin are as main district exploration to succeed,Jiamusi-Wandashan is as main strategic vision area.
