In the domain of oil fields' exploration and development .By the oil fields' exploration and development continues, the geology objects geophysicists face are becoming more and more complex. So the seismic attribute are becoming more and more important in seismic exploration. So the require of geophysics technology becoming more and more advanced, therefore geophysicists have a abroad and lucubrate study in seismic attribute. The definition of seismic attribute is changed since it was been introduced to us in 1970's, and then it experience a lot of change. At the same time the range it can be used has expand to seismic structural map, formation analysis, petrographic description, reservoir description etc. Some experience of production in oil filed proved that by used seismic attribute technique efficiently we can raise our productivity. So the at the first, the paper study on development of seismic attributes. Mainly focus on the physics theory, mathematical theory and geological signification of this seismic attributes, and how can it be used in seismic exploring and interpreter. And then the paper study in coherency technology hard. The 3-Dimensinal coherency is a new member of seismic attribute technique, and now it developed speedy. The objects which the paper focus on include several point explaining as follow. First the paper study on C1,C2 and C3 calculate method. And then have some study on the improving method of C2 calculate method . and then according to the base of real conditions, the paper study the multitrace coherency calculate method from the energy aspect on base of C1 method. Finally the paper study the singe comparability which cause by same reason, and according to this same reason we establish a standard trace from the mutiltrace singes. Then we use the standard trace to calculate the 3-Dimensional coherency attribute from the energy aspect. by the end of this study, we use the standard trace to calculate the 3-Dimensional coherency attribute from the energy aspect. Finally we used the QT and C++ to code the program to realize this method, and then we used a 3D-seismic data to validate this method by different parameter.
