Oil logging is a comprehensive technology which is gradually formed during the oil field exploitation. Its key functions include the resolve of oil, gas and water layer; the accident prediction and monitoring during the oil exploitation. Skilled workers can analysis the local data of the oil well depending on the logging data. Display of logging data by dynamic visualization way will be significantly helpful for skilled workers to make real-time react to the circs of the oil well and produce appropriate decisions in time.The research of this paper includes three main parts: logging data analysis and model making, logging data 3D visualization and logging spatial analysis. Based on the logging theory and technology the paper contains the collection of the data of well logging and their analysis. On the basis of data collection and sorting, the research of model making based on logging data is conducted. The second part of the paper investigates the method of 3D dynamic visualization of logging data based on logging data model. Considering the demand for logging application, the paper conducts the spatial analysis of target-hitting analysis, dog leg analysis and oil area analysis.The productions of the paper are as follow:1. The Collection and sorting of the logging data are conducted with dividing them into spatial data and property data. Based on logging data analysis, property data model and spatial data model are built and both of which are associated by sampling spot data.2. Taking advantage of the method of visualization in scientific computation which is based on logging data model, on the basis of resolving the bend and diameter of well and visualization of property data, the holistic visualization of spatial data(hole inclination data, target data, stratum data) and property data in a unitary scene is implemented, research on the dynamic visualization of logging data is conducted as well, the methods of base state with amendments and holistic draw are recommended.3. Based on logging data model, the research utilizes the method of topology analysis, morphology analysis and volume analysis to investigate the target of dog leg, target-hitting and oil area volume.The method of logging data 3D dynamic visualization and spatial analysis of this paper can promote the construction of oil logging management information system and the share and visualization of logging information resource. It is greatly helpful to advance the level of oil exploitation.
