Nowadays,traditional launch technologies can hardly meet people's special demands towards driving apparatus in the aspect of velocity and safety,while the EML technology,which has been revived only in recent years,casts a new light on the solving above-mentioned problems.The technology of electromagnetic launch is a leap in the fields of the propulsion technology in recent years.It has opened up a new avenue to meet the special requirements of propulsion,such as ultra high speed and big mass.Its merit of low propulsion cost has especially attracted the attention of all countries . The electromagnetic launch is that when the electromagnetic force works,the electromagnetic energy is transformed into kinetic energy which is used to launch projectile (armature).The coil-type electromagnetic propulsion technology in essence is that the varied magnetic field produces eddy-current in projectile,and then the eddy-current and the varied magnetic field interact to generate the electromagnetic force to promote projectile motion,so it is very important to study the magnetic-field of launcher and the force analysis of projectile.To reduce the experimental costs and increase efficiency,firstly the theoretical analysis is done , then the simulation . On the basis of the existing theories.principles and components of the traveling-wave induction launcher are elaborated in detail,the analysis of theory with the formation of traveling-wave magnetic-field is given,the distribution of magnetic-field traveling-wave on the axis of coil and space is also given.The geometrical model of launcher is formed by the finite element methods,and the magnetic-field of traveling-wave induction launcher is analyzed.The inside of projectile and coil,more completed of space for the density of magnetic flux are gained.The distribution of cloud picture for magnetic lines of flux,the response current of coil and the curve of magnetic flux changed by the time are obtained.On the basis of those,in the terms of theory the force of projectile is analyzed,the force condition during the launching projectile is simulated by finite element methods.The effects that stored energy capacity and charged electricity voltage are also simulated in the issue.The effects that the length,in-radius,ex-radius of coil and the length of projectile,the initial position and the same interval of time are also simulated.The force of launcher is affected by those effects.In the article,the plots which show the characters of the forcing projectile changed by the effects changed,the plots are also analyzed and compared with the practical ones.The results of the simulation show that the finite element methods are reasonable and have laid a foundation for the further research.
