With the increasing demand for information technology, people are developing information system to the maximum of its potential. Further development of information science entails new principles and methods, and thus a new field which makes use of both quantum mechanics and information science, called quantum information, was born. Coded as qubit, quantum information has unique properties, which manifests itself in the so-called entanglement, showing great advantages over classic information in some places.This thesis focuses on quantum teleportation and quantum computation based on charge detector, which consists of the following parts:First, atom-field interaction is introduced. Atom-field interaction theory is the basic knowledge of quantum information operation using atom-cavity systems. It is helpful to research how to prepare entangled states based on atom-cavity systems via knowing about deeply the evolution of atom-cavity interaction systems. In this thesis we will introduce methods of preparing entangled states via three main types: atom entangled states generation through atom-cavity interaction, entanglement preparation between two-mode light field, and photonic entanglement preparation via spontaneous parameter down-conversion (SPDC).Second, fundamental concepts of both quantum communication and quantum computation are described, such as qubit, quantum gates, entanglement, teleportation, quantum no-cloning theorem, quantum dense coding, etc.Third, quantum logic operation is discussed in detail. Quantum logic operation can be implemented by devices using linear optics elements, ancilla photons, post selection, Bell state measurement and Pauli transformation.Finally, we propose a scheme about electronic teleportation and quantum logic operation based on charge detector, which effectively improves the success probability of quantum operations. To realize the scheme we made use Bell analyzer, Hadamard gate transformation, ancilla electron and electronic polarizing beam splitters.
