With the development of computer, the modern design technique based on CAD/CAE has become mature and been applied in the designing of some aircrafts which has come out for military or civil use. Especially, the use of the ADAMS software makes the procedure of the dynamic analysis and calculation of the landing gear and aircraft not so complex and difficult anymore. In order to reduce the cost and improve the performance of an aircraft, it is important and necessary to analyze the dynamic behavior of the landing gear and the whole aircraft.In this thesis, with the application of the theory of dynamics of multi-body systems, a multi-body model of a track-like landing gear is given based on the feature of construction, force and motion of the landing gear. The dynamic equations and kinematic equations of the track-like landing gear in the process of landing are constructed. Then using the ADAMS software, the landing dynamics of the track-like landing gear is simulated. The influence of the parameters of the shock absorber is carefully considered. Comparing to the experiment results, it is showen that the method in the thesis is correct, and the simulation results are reliable. Some important parameters are optimized to improve the landing dynamic behavior of the track-like landing gear. Finally, A full-aircraft assembly model based on ADAMS/Aircraft is defined, which includes wheel subsystems, landing-gear subsystems, a brake subsystem, and an airframe subsystem. The full-aircraft taxiing dynamic analysis is performed to consider the influence of the taxiing road.According to the work of this thesis, it is concluded that it is convenient and efficient to simulate the dynamics of the track-like landing gear and the full aircraft with the help of the theory of dynamics of multi-body systems and the ADAMS software. The results obtained in the thesis is important and can be referenced in the design and improvement of track-like landing gear and the aircraft.
