Limu Tin-tungsten-tantalum-niobium deposit, located in the middle of the Nanling east-west direction tectonic belt,is an important component of the famous Nanling nonferrous metals and rare metals metallogenic belt in China.It has a unique geological background,frequent magmatic activity,complex geological structure,rich ore-forming information, and formatted a large number of tin ores. In the past dozens of years, there has carried out a series of geological research and exploration, and accumulated a certain amount of geological data. At present, most of the Tin mine has entered the final mining stage,and the retention of the geological reserves and the third-class mine volume are far from being able to meet the production needs.Thus there has started the crisis mine exploration projects in the region which are in urgent need of summarizing the metallogenic regularity .The study on petrology,mineralogy,petrochemistry,trace elements,isotope geochemistry and melting experiments of mineralized granite shows that Limu granite is of transformation type.It's source is continental crust.The formation of mineralized granite is a result of high degree evolution of magmatic differentiation.The high degree concentration of volatile components in theresidual magmacauses a great effect on the formation of mineralized granite and deposit.At the lastest stage of magma crystallization,there is a fluid phase on the top of magma.It is the main source for the granite pegmatite veins,feldspar-quartz veins,and fluoritelepidolite veins,feldspar-quartz veins,and fluoritelepidolite veins.Mineralization is the result of magmatic differentiation and evolution and autometasomatism.The determinant factor is volatile components.The Rb-Sr isochron age dating of Shui-Xi-Miao and the K-Ar age dating of lepidolite in the feldspar-quartz vein shows that the ages of granite body and deposit are very close.It shows the continuity between granite formation and mineralization.
