The study area of this paper is the drainage basin of Yufu River in southern of Jinan City. By the mathematic statistical methods and the geomorphologic field survey, the structure of water system, geomorphologic characteristics and the state of landform development of the drainage basin of Yufu River have been studied. Based on the study mentioned above, applied problems about the tourism exploitation of the landscape resources of this drainage basin were also discussed.By the mathematical statistics, we can open out the basis characters of water net and landform system of this drainage: the value of average bifurcation ratio of water course in the study area is 4.15, the value of average length ratio of water course is 2.43, and the value of average gradient ratio is 0.4545. The values of area-altitude integral in the drainage basins of Yufu River, Jinxiuchuan River, Jinyangchuan River and Jinyunchuan River are 0.585, 0.793, 0.567 and 0.613 respectively. The values of area-altitude integral show that: the Yufu River and Jinyangchuan River are in the"older", more stable stage, while the Jinxiuchuan River and Jinyunchuan River are in the"younger", less stable stage, stronger erosion.About the geomorphologic types of and their distribution in study area, the erode low mountain is 115.8 km2 in area and can be divided into limestone mountain and metamorphic mountain. Erode low mountain is distributing mainly in the watershed areas of Zaolin, Paoma Mountain, the north of Mountain Changcheng, Temple of Dafo, and in the east of Nangaoer.Erode hills is about 522.2 km2 in area, and around the erode low mountain. West of Que Mountain where the Yufu River runs out of the Mountain area the geomorphic type turns into piedmont and plain. The area of the piedmont and plain is 126.2km2. In the view of river basin, the types of landforms in the study area can be divided into slope surface of hillside, intermountain plain, intermountain basin, valley, erode gully of the mountain, gully of piedmont loess and piedmont plain. The area of slope surface of hillside, intermountain plain, intermountain basin is 479.4km2, 158.7km2, 30.8km2.A variety of landscapes in the study area provides the resource foundation for the development of the tourism. Rational exploitation and utilization of the landscapes have an important significance for the sustainable development of the tourism in the study area and Jinan City. At present, the problems in the tourism exploitation and utilization of the landscapes in this area are:①the development of the landscapes have the same development model that the tourism landscapes are homogeneous and have no characteristics;②because of the intense competition from outside the region, the benefits is very low;③unrational development and utilization of landscapes have led to a series of environmental problems;④basic establishments of tourism is relatively poor;⑤the level of management in the tourist areas is also relatively low. Aimed at the problems mentioned above, the author put forward that we should solve some strategy problems firstly in the exploitation and utilization of the landscapes in the study area. The source of tourists should direct to the residences of Jinan City. Secondly, we should take advantage and avoid the disadvantage of the landscapes, decrease competition of the tourism areas that have the some characters, so that we can improve efficiency. At last, according to the local conditions and the development trends of tourism market, we should develop proper and environment-friendly tourism product. We should improve the basic establishments of tourism and the level of management in the tourism areas.
