Nowadays, traditional compact disc storage and magnetic storage technologies gradually approach physical limit, but their storage density and storage capacity do not meet the demand of modern society,so people divert their eyes to a kind of new technology-digital holographic storage technology.Because it has excellent storage performance,it attracts the interest of more and more people recently. To make it practical, many holographic storage materials are investigated. In these materials, photopolymer becomes a focus for its many advantages. In this dissertation, the photopolymers sensitized by Azureâ… and Azureâ…¡are investigated and the below meaningful jobs are included:1.Two kinds of red-sensitive holographic storage photopolymer samples(Named as Sample 1 and Sample 2 in order) sensitized by Azureâ… and Azureâ…¡respectively are fabricated.2.In the Sample 1 and 2,many optical characteristics such as sensitive spectral range, the relationship of transmittance and exposure time under different exposure intensity, the optimization of dye concentration, the relationship of maximum diffraction efficiency, exposure sensitivity or refractive index modulation and thickness of sample are investigated. Finally, the experiments of holographic storage are done in two samples.3.The optimization of triethanolamine concentration of Sample 1 is investigated. The holographic characteristics such as the relationship of diffraction efficiency and exposure intensity, the dependence of diffraction efficiency and the different ratios of object beam intensity to reference beam intensity in the Sample 2 are studied.4.The holographic characteristics of two samples are compared. They include contrast of absorption spectra, diffraction efficiency versus the concentration of dye,the maximum transmittance versus exposure time under the same intensity, diffraction efficiency versus exposure time under the same intensity, diffraction efficiency versus different thicknesses of samples and the refractive index modulation versus different thicknesses of samples.
