The Research And Applications Of The WebGIS Graphic System Based On Mapinfo

"The ages being superhighways for the 20th century is networks for the 21st centuries of ages".With the continuously development of Internet and the diversified need of the geography information system(GIS) for people,It has already become inevitable trend of GIS development,which provides the space data to browse,search and analyze for the customer by promulgating and publishing the space data on the Web through the Internet. The WebGIS system what is GIS based on Internet is the main current development.The article takes the Management Information Systems' construction of Railway Major Clients for the study background. According to the construction need of The Major Clients' Management Information Systems, which is the network distribution, transforming the number to graphics, intuitionistic and excellent communication between people and computer. The text puts forward the solution of WebGIS system based on Mapinfo by analyzing the WebGIS basic principle, structure model and the develop technology in detail, and deeply studing the map technology,the function of serching and analyzing the space data about Mapinfo,and finally combining the map application principle and Web service technique of MapXtreme2005.The thesis introduces the development of the Cargo Flow Graphics System of Railway Major Clients. The system draws map layer using Mapinfo Professional 8.0 software,and takes MapXtreme2005 as a map service terrace. Besides, it makes good use of the .NET model frame, ASP.NET network technique, ADO.NET serching for data technique, DHTML dynamic web page technique, the saving data technique of Orcale Spatial and the language technique of the Javascript. It firstly accomplishes the application study of the WebGIS system based on Mapinfo, and obtains an outstanding effect.In the end, the author summarizes the research result and shortage of thesis, and put forward an outlook according to the WebGIS system based on Mapinfo.
