The Study Of The Water Resources GIS Key Technology

Water resources is human being survival and economic society development of material base , is indispensable natural resources. With develop rapidly of economy society, The demand for water resources is getting higher and higher, however, the availability of freshwater resources is limited. Lack of water resources not only restricted the economic and social development, and resulted in the continued deterioration of water resources environment. Knowing and grasping water resources and their space-time distribution is carrying out the development of water resources, utilization, planning, management of premise and basis. Therefore, the study of water resources system has important theoretical and practical significance.The geographical information system (GIS) is a kind of high and new technology which can syncretize the computer graph and the database into a body, and store and process space information. By unifing organically the geographical position and the correlation attribute, and drawing support from the spatial analysis function and the visualization expression way, solve complex plan,decision-making,and management issues.therefore, GIS has offered a brand-new high-tech tool for water resource management and planning, it can support obtaining, management, operating, analysis, simulation and showing of the data of geographical space related to water resource management, in order to solve complicated water resource management and planning problem.This paper starts from GIS theory knowledge. And the technology of GIS and MapInfo secondary development are studied deeply. Based on the requirements analysis for the project, then application functional requirements for GIS being used in the field of water resources management are mined and refined. Last, these functions are implemented and developed preferably by MapX component technology of MapInfo company. The main function including the main map function (enlargement, reduces, arrow tool, arrow selection tool, hand tool and so on), eagle-eyed function, information inquiry, distance measurement and so on. In accordance with the characteristics of the field of water resources, on the shortest path algorithm to improve the optimization.The theory of the article combines reality, and has carried on beneficial exploration and try in making use of geographical technology of information system to deal with the practical problem of the water resource, there is meaning of using for reference in the development to the regional water resource GIS management information.
