The research object of this page is the SII reservoirs in Sa–zhong development area. Basing on the application of high resolution sequence stratigraphy and sedimentary theory, stratigraphic multi-level base cycles classification and correlation and the establishment stratigraphic framework has been done.. In the interval of interest of the research areas.. On the basis of fully using the core data and database, the static field data, the reservoir heterogeneity remaining oil distribution of. the interval of interest are studied.Research areas have been developed over 40 years. It has entered the later stage of development,. The research is of vital importance. This paper is based The short-term base-level cyclic sequences sedimentary microfacies in the SII reservoirs, emphasise on the reservoirs, namely distributary channel sand reservoir. This research in the study area is done .The 16 layer segment for 18 time unit is divided in vertical in the SII reservoirs, each time unit for a short-term base-level cyclic sequences, corresponding to a river. And to every cycle for fine sedimentary microfacies, set up two reservoirs of the SII reservoirs high-resolution sequence stratigraphy framework, Through logging microfacies recognition, the combination of plane face ,18 short-term base-level cyclic sequences of sedimentary microfacies are made. In sedimentary microfacies, basing on research of sedimentary microfacies, reservoir heterogeneity (flat heterogeneity, interlayer heterogeneity, heterogeneity in layer) are analyzed in detail, and with SⅡ3,SⅡ7,SⅡ10,SⅡ11, reservoir, as an example, the study of reservoir in five different parameters of sedimentary microfacies controlling exhibition and distribution, and the analysis of distribution of reservoir heterogeneity is made. On the basis of study area, the study of remaining oil distribution, summarized the research area of six kinds of remaining oil distribution types and distribution of residual oil.
