As development level continuously strenthens, Sazhong development area has enteredinto high water cut stage and its crude oil reduces by degrees. Consequently, at present, themain tasks of development adjustment are to look for and exploit the remaining oil as well asfind out the remaining oil distribution of the main reservoirs after polymer injection flooding, which can provide the firm fundation for the next step of development adjustment.Based on the sedimentary and geological characteristics at Zhong216Station andaccording to combining sedimentary cycle correlation, hierarchical control and discriminatingdifferent sedimentary facies association, the wells in PI1-4layers are subdivided into fivesedimentary units.the well-log microfacies of five depositional units were recognized and thesedimentary microfacies’ maps of five depositional units were drawn up. According tosedimentary microfacies’ maps as well as correlation and microfacies’ division, calculationmethod of single-well remaining geological reserves were used to calculate remaininggeological reserves in different development stage of research area. With a comprehensiveanalysis for the remaining oil in the test area, the geological reserves of B1-61-P266,B1-61-P267B1-63-P265and B1-63-P266wells are high. After polymer injection flooding, the remaining reserves of B1-61-P266, B1-61-P267B1-63-P265and B1-63-P266wells arestill high.and were thought as oil-rich region, which is consistent with field data. Therefore, calculation method of single well remaining geological reserves has thefeatures as high precision, great applicability, and high reliability, which provides a newresearch direction for the remaining oil calculation and should be widely applied. This methodhas solved the calculation problems of single well geological reserves, made the calculation ofsingle well geological reserves come true and then been able to understand the distribution ofgeological reserves...
